Doug has lived on the West Coast for over 50 years. He has retired more then once from more then one occupation. In the 1990’s he began working with fused glass as a hobby, often using recycled glass for his experiments. With a strong entrepreneurial spirit and background, he soon developed a thriving business. He persisted in buying more kilns and creating products. Doug often works long hours or odd hours as the mood strikes him. It never occurred to him to retire and do nothing.
Wall vases are made in the age-old tradition of fused glass. They each have a twisted brass handle hanger and each piece has its own unique jewel like quality. The vases are watertight and can be used as vessels for fresh flowers.
