David has an interest in art that dates back to his childhood, when he turned to painting and drawing. During his early years he was a student under such renowned artists as Isaac Stavans and Arthur Kronengold. He received a degree in Industrial Design, applying his artistic skills into practical everyday objects and using three dimensions. He developed both product and graphic design for the plastic housewares industry. He later completed a Masters Program in Design Management, and an MBA. In 1988 he started experimenting with sculpture and started developing a unique style in his work. His designs are generally elongated and graceful, slightly resembling the work of Giaccometti. He resides in Southern California.
His pieces are handcrafted in cast bronze or iron with a vintage-like dark brown finish.
